In 1930, Haji Matiur Rahman, our great-grandfather, started what would become a living legacy of Banarasi craftsmanship. He was a master of silk, known for creating sarees that once graced the courts of Ramnagar’s Maharaja. His hands knew silk like an alchemist knows his elements.

Purple pure Mulberry Katan silk handwoven Banarasi saree, crafted in the Kadhwa technique with distinctive TEH-RIR MEENA artistry. The body features stunning floral brocade enriched with multicolour TEH-RIR MEENA. The rumali aanchal pallu showcases diamond Banarasi brocade with bold butah motifs highlighted with vibrant multicolour meenakari. The borders feature floral zari brocade in a laheriya pattern with multicolour meenakari, framed by drill Banarasi brocade and delicate mini floral laheriya detailing. A contrasting pink selvedge adds a striking accent, while the striped blouse with matching sleeve borders completes this elegant ensemble.
