The Story of HMR Heritage
A Story of Tradition, Innovation & Conscientious Luxury
In the ancient city of Varanasi, where art is not made - but inherited….our story began.
In 1930, Haji Matiur Rahman, our great-grandfather, started what would become a living legacy of Banarasi craftsmanship. He was a master of silk, known for creating sarees that once graced the courts of Ramnagar’s Maharaja. His hands knew silk like an alchemist knows his elements.
